CABLES FOR FIEL BUS AND FOR ETHERNET
NETWORK
In last years new technologies linked to industrial
process control are being more
and more broadening, in order to increase competitiveness
and product quality, without
neglecting work safety. Each machine may be equipped
with systems which make available process data collected
to the other system components by means bus network.
One elaborated, such data will be made
available in order to get useful information about
industrial process for improvement program, or used
as feedback to act in real time on
machine parameters to keep it into the fixed tolerances.
Several transmission protocol were born
along these years, and it is increased the
need to unify some basic parameters of filed bus communication
in order to let the interconnection among machines
with different protocols and so to exchange information
at higher level by means common link network of the
several machines.
Such protocols are defined by the
Standards EN 61158 series and EN
61784, to be consulted
for further deepening.
Moreover, each field bus has defined its own component
structure and relevant specifications to be met in
order to satisfy the requirements for good communication.
In the catalogue, cables matching
main transmission protocol have been included,
both for fixed installation both above all for dynamic
installation, assuring the transmissive
characteristic conservation even in dymanic condition.
Cables bear the UL and CSA approvals and DESINA mark
wherever it is required. Bus cables have been approved
by UL and CSA for rated voltage up to 1000
V even if
the working voltage is less than 50
V. Such approval
lets the cable be installed in the
same tray or chain without any separator, as required
by istallation standards.
