Quality & environmental

Unika is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management.
Since 2021, our sales unit UNIKA Logistics has also been certified under ISO 9001:2015, extending our quality system across the supply chain.

Industrial Automation

Our industrial automation cables are certified by accredited bodies such as UL, IMQ, VDE and TÜV, confirming compliance with standards on electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility and environmental resistance — essential to guarantee reliability and optimal performance in automated systems.

Marine

In the marine sector, cables intended for on-board and offshore installation must meet specific technical and qualitative requirements.
These requirements are verified and confirmed by the so-called “Classification Societies”, such as Lloyds Register, which issue product certification attesting that the cable is suitable for use in marine environments in line with sector standards.

Railway

Our railway cables for on-board applications are certified according to EN 45545-2, risk class HL3 — the highest level for fire safety.
Made with halogen-free materials, the cables are flame retardant and low smoke emission, ensuring maximum safety.

Data Cables and jumpers

Defence

Unika has obtained approval from the Italian Ministry of Defence for non-toxic electrical power and control cables, as well as miniaturized interconnection cables suitable for installation on board military naval units.

In the water treatment sector, our products undergo stringent certification tests, including migration, microbiological growth, and odour, taste and turbidity verification.
