The KU550 C series consists of shielded multicore cables primarily suitable for fixed installation, designed for power supply and control of electrical equipment in industrial environments. These cables are flame retardant and can withstand major industrial oils. They are suitable for installation in damp or wet environments and can be buried in appropriate conduits if required. Mechanically, they offer good flexibility, making them easily installable. The shielding provides effective radio frequency interference reduction (see EMC Directive 89/336). However, to maximize the shielding's effectiveness, it is essential to follow the instructions provided by individual manufacturers of converters and motors regarding the shield connections.
