The three phases and the ground are combined to form a fourth conductor. However, the simplest construction arrangement causes asymmetry, leading to poor compensation of the electromagnetic flux, resulting in wave emissions. The coupling of the two shields, aluminum foil with tinned copper braid, provides effective shielding for both low and high frequencies. Proper sizing of the shield results in low transfer impedance, limiting radiated waves.
