Cables for Fieldbus and Machine Interconnection
Once processed, this data can provide valuable insights into the industrial process for improvement programs or can be used in real-time feedback to adjust machine parameters within specified tolerances. With the emergence of various transmission protocols, the need arose to standardize some fundamental communication parameters of the field bus, enabling the interconnection of machines with different protocols and facilitating information exchange over a common network.
These protocols are defined by the EN 61158 and EN 61784 series of Standards, which provide further insights if necessary. Furthermore, each field bus has defined the structure of its components and their respective specifications to ensure effective communication. This catalogue includes cables corresponding to the main transmission protocols, suitable for both fixed and mobile installations, ensuring reliable transmission characteristics even in dynamic conditions.
Bus Cables with UL, CSA, and DESINA Approvals
The cables are fully approved by UL, CSA, and DESINA, where applicable. The bus cables have been UL and CSA approved for voltages up to 1000 V, regardless of the operating voltage (typically a few tens of volts). This allows for the installation of these cables in the same conduit or cable carrier without any separation, as required by installation standards.
