KU 8000 series is formed by multipair cables, single shielded, if required armoured by means galvanized steel wire, and having the properties to be not fire propagating, oil and hydrocarbon resistant. For such characteristics, they have been designed to be installed as instrumentation, signal and control cables in petrochemical plants for extraction, storage, distillation, ecc. They are suitable for fixed, outdoor installation and for direct burial thanks to armour. Due to the heterogeneous of such cables, only few examples have been included.
