A company is not a family, but it is a community. Within this community, people work together and spend a large part of their time with one another. They would not be able to do what they do without the support of their families at home—families who understand the late hours when overtime is needed, and who understand the stress and tension that come with working under pressure.
So, in my view, this was the perfect opportunity to thank the families of our employees and also to make our employees proud of what they do. Today, we are inaugurating a new facility, and thanks to the work of our people, the company that acquired us continues to invest in us and believes in our future. This provides continuity and stability for our work.
We are a company of 120 people in a community of 2,000 residents, so I believe we play an important role within our local community, and it is important to send a message of continuity and confidence for the future.

This event is perfectly aligned with LAPP’s values, among which family plays a central role. The Family Day represents an important moment not only for the UNIKA family, but for the entire LAPP family as well. It is truly the embodiment of an extended family.

I work with many young colleagues in KU, and collaboration with them is very easy. They are highly committed, always willing to help, and together we have built a great team and a strong sense of teamwork.
It is wonderful to see all my colleagues here today with their families. I also really appreciate the presence of representatives from other companies within the LAPP Group.
This was definitely an event worth organizing, especially considering the significant improvements that have been made to the factory. You can clearly see these developments while walking through the production area.

As for this first Family Day at UNIKA, I truly enjoyed it. Beyond the chance to show my workplace to my family, which is something I particularly appreciate given my technical background, it was wonderful to showcase our production processes.
It finally allowed me to show my family and my partner where I spend my days, where I experience both the challenges and the achievements of my work. It was also a great opportunity for colleagues who do not always have the chance to see the actual production plant and understand where our products are made.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to organizing this event, starting with all of you—Elia, Roberta, Mauro, Luca—as well as everyone who took part, the guides who accompanied visitors, and all the employees who are participating today.
This is a moment of togetherness and unity, and it seems to be turning out extremely well. I am very pleased with the result, and I would like to thank everyone for making it possible.

On Saturday, May 23, UNIKA hosted its Family Day, a special event dedicated to employees and their families, designed to open the company’s doors and share the reality that they help build every day.

With a map in hand, participants followed a route through offices, production departments and the warehouse, collecting stamps at each stop and discovering the people, processes and technologies that bring the UNIKA reality to life every day. For many, it was the first opportunity to see firsthand where their loved ones work and gain a deeper understanding of the activities they carry out on a daily basis.
The day continued with games and activities for younger guests, a welcome speech from the management team, a shared lunch and the final prize draw, all in an atmosphere of participation, curiosity and togetherness.

For us, Family Day was a special opportunity to celebrate the people who are part of our organization and to share with their families what makes UNIKA a community before it is a company: a network of people united by shared values, collaboration and passion, which today extends far beyond the walls of our facility thanks to the wider LAPP family of which we are proudly a part.
